60. China: Hong Kong

60. Hong Kong, China
Victoria Bay is situated between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Peninsula and is the largest harbor in China. It was named after the British Queen Victoria in 1861 when Hong Kong Island was a Concession of Britain. The harbor is famous for its stunning panoramic views and for “A Symphony of Lights”, a nightly multimedia show involving more than 40 buildings on both sides of the harbor. Hong Kong was returned to China in 1997. This picture shows an evening view of the bay from Victoria Peak, the island’s highest mountain.
I bought this magnet at a gift shop in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
